Cricbuzz understands that the National Cricket Academy has written to the BCCI about his fitness status. Incidentally, the squad for the third Test and beyond remains to be named with a source confirming that the selectors are yet to be convened for the meeting. The selectors were originally expected to meet on Thursday (February 8) but are now likely to do so today with a formal announcement of the squad expected thereafter.
